Smutty Gift Guide: Spring Edition

1. Saucy Custom Bookmarks for your Spring Romance Reads

Nothing says "I'm a proud smut lover" like a bookmark featuring your favorite steamy quote or a risqué illustration. Choose designs that make you blush or giggle every time you open your book. They're perfect for saving your spot or simply flaunting your fabulous taste in literature.

2. "Hot and Bothered" Reading Candles

Set the mood for your outdoor reading session with candles that have names as suggestive as the chapters you're devouring. Think scents like "Leather and Lace" or "Midnight Rose," evoking the allure of secret trysts and forbidden love. Let the aroma envelop you as you lose yourself in another sizzling scene.

3. Sultry Book Bag

Keep your tantalizing tales safe with book bag that are as bold and beautiful as the stories inside. Look for designs with a wink—maybe something with a leopard print or a suggestive motif. It's the perfect way to carry your books to your next outdoor reading escapade, all while saying, "Yes, I'm reading smut, and I love it!"

4. "Steamy Picnic" Essentials

Embrace the joy of reading outdoors with a "Steamy Picnic" kit. Think luxurious blankets, a plush pillow, and, of course, a basket filled with your favorite treats (chocolate-covered strawberries, anyone?). Choose a secluded spot in the park or your backyard, where you can read to your heart's content without any prying eyes—except maybe the occasional envious squirrel.

5. Secret Garden Love Notes

In the spirit of spring and all things growing wildly, pen your thoughts or favorite naughty quotes on plantable notes. Gift them to your book club friends or keep them as reminders of your most beloved steamy scenes. As the flowers grow, so will your anticipation for the next hot read.

6. "Thirst-Quenching" Tea Blends

Stay hydrated with tea blends designed to match the intensity of your current read. Opt for something with a bit of spice, like a chai blend, or something unexpectedly sensual, like a rose petal and hibiscus infusion. Sip, read, and let the world fade away as you indulge in your spring romance literary fantasies.

7. Bold and Beautiful Bookmarks with Pressed Wildflowers

For a touch of elegance and earthiness, consider bookmarks that blend the delicate beauty of pressed wildflowers with the boldness of your reading material. It's a lovely contrast that celebrates both the gentle and fierce aspects of nature—and of your reading tastes.

So, my daring romantics, let's not only welcome spring with open arms but also with open books. Let the season be filled with the joy of reading what you love, where you love, and how you love. Here's to sun-kissed skin, breezy afternoons, and books that make you feel alive.

Happy reading, happy spring, and remember: the best adventures often happen off the page.

Title: Six Summers to Fall

Author: C.W. Farnsworth

Series: N/A

Links: Amazon

Genre: Romance

Description:

Six summers. Six chances. One week spent pretending.

Ever since her younger sister’s engagement was announced, Harper Williams has been dreading the wedding. What should be a joyous, sun-drenched affair is sure to be filled with plenty of awkward moments, thanks to Harper’s strained relationship with her only sibling. Awkwardness enhanced by the wedding’s location—a lake in Maine, swimming with painful memories of their late father.

Running into Drew Halifax—her childhood crush, who grew up to be the golden boy of hockey—is a surprise. Not nearly as shocking as his offer to be her plus-one is though.

She expects him to back out. He shows up. She’s looking for a distraction from the past. He’s killing time until his season starts and he can chase the championship. She’s guarded yet outgoing. He’s easygoing yet focused.

They hardly know each other. Until one week of sharing secrets, pretending to be in love, and sleeping in the same bed changes everything. Feelings that were supposed to be fake start to feel very real.

Problem is, neither of them is looking for a relationship. At most, they’re meant to be a summer fling. Definitely not a happily ever after.

But when it comes to falling? You have no control. Once you start, it’s impossible to stop. And sometimes…it takes six summers.

Perspective: Dual POV

Tropes:

  • Fake Dating

  • Second Chance

  • Small Town Romance

  • Forced Proximity

  • Reverse Grumpy-Sunshine

  • Friends to Lovers (sort of)

My Review & Ratings: Easy read if you are looking for a beach or a lake vibe book. Has engaging wit and banter between the MCs. I appreciated Drew's patience - he was able to break down Harper's tough exterior. There was a lot of healing after a loss. It was done with grace and with support between the two MCs.
